Juvenile delinquency has become serious social problem in our country. For a long time, the study of the family legal education of our country is weak, which is short of systematically demonstrational research, whose research visual angle is unitary. From the multivariate research visual angle of educational psychology, family pedagogy, group psychological counseling and law, the study chooses the legal cognition & the family legal educational method of the junior high school students' parents as the research subject, and takes "The PRC Compulsory Education Law", "The PRC Protecting Minor Law" and "The PRC Preventing Minor from Crime Law" as the major content. The paper investigates the status quo of the family legal education of the junior high school students' parents, and surveys the characteristics of legal cognition and legal educational level of parents by questionnaire method and interview method. Based on that, the paper also works out a new Legal Cognition Scale for Junior High School Students' Parents and a Simulant Questionnaire for Teaching Law as the measuring tool. Then the research carries out the educational intervention experiment for parents' legal cognition and legal educational method, and making the overall assessment of demand, conducted process and result of the educational intervention scheme by the action research method for test with verification intervention result.Conclusions of the paper are the following:1.The family legal education investigation result of junior high school students shows that the most of the head of families can realize the importance of the family legal education, but desiderates the exaltation of the overall legal consciousness, lacks relevant legal knowledge and the practical feasible legal educational method, needs to be helped and guided.2. The self-made Legal Cognition Scale for Junior High School Students' Parents has high internal homogeneity reliability, construction and content validity.
