Study On Criminal Protection Of Virtual Property In The Net Games

With the rapid development of net games industry, the virtual property in the net games has become a new-born thing of the concern. In recent years, many disputes concerning the virtual property in the net games have occurred increasingly, but due to lacking of the relative laws and regulations, these disputes cannot be solved appropriately. It has become a focus in the research on how to legally protect the virtual property in the net games. The paper attempts to probe into the relative law theories and the perfection of law system from the perspective of the protection on Criminal Law.Firstly, based on the essence of the virtual property in the net games, the paper put forward the values and property natures of the virtual property. The way to realize is that the player, as a subject of the right, dominates the virtual property being an object of the right under the net games environment provided by the business company. Secondly, it points out our country pays little attention to the crime of infringing upon the virtual property in the net games currently, and as to the enforcement, the protection on it is only at the level of Civil Law.
