The Influence Of Green Barriers To The Agricultural Product Export Trade In China

China'entry into WTO will push Chinese agriculture to take part in global competition. On one hand, this will provide Chinese agricultural development with more opportunities, and on the other hand will confront it with more challenges and risks. In the conduct of international trade, the green trade barriers problem is unavoidable now. As a fragile industry branch, agriculture tends to be more easily influenced by green trade barrier. This article addresses issue of the effect of GTBs to the Agricultural products trade. Firstly, it analyzes the effects of GTBs on the importing nation and exporting nation and consumer surplus by Enviornmental Standards and New Theory of International Trade; Secondly, it presents the consequences of internalization of environmental costs, which has influences on comparative advantage; Thirdly, it positive analysis the effect of GTBs to the Agricultural products trade. At last, combining the situation of Agricultural products trade which is facing, it puts forward suggestions on how to solve it.
