Dalian port is one of national chief foreign trade port, and strives to become international shipping center. As an international or territorial shipping center, it must be a big port on container transferring. Dalian port needs to catch the history chance to construct an international shipping center in northeast of Asia. Depending on the hinterland Dalian port must quicken the development of container transferring. This paper bases on a series of qualitative analysis of Dalian port, and uses gray system, finally makes out some strategic forecast for Dalian container transferring development.The paper consists of six chapters. The first is introduction; mainly introduces the source and meaning of this task, and expounds container transshipment theory simply. The second and third chapters analyze Dalian port's actuality and compare with competitive adversaries inside and outside, as groundwork for quantitative analysis. According to the practicality of Dalian port and the qualitative analysis, the paper uses gray system and make out the forecast and stratagem for Dalian port container transferring development.
