Study On Rights And Duties Of Salvors In Salvage At Sea

This paper introduces the salvage at sea, the salvors and the four rights and three duties of the salvors during salvage at sea, namely, right on rewards for salvage, right on special compensation for salvage, right on limitation of liability for maritime claims, right on lien on the salved vessel and property , duty during salvage performance, duty on salvage of persons and duty to answer the call for assistance and render assistance, puts forward that rewards for salvage of persons shall be confirmed in law and the fund for salvage of persons at sea shall be set up and the salvors shall get compensation when they are called for assistance in order to protect the lives and encourage the salvage at sea.
