Research On Integration Of Bank Computerization System

With the competition and challenge from foreign banks that domestic banking industry encounters in recent years, Chinese banks must actively adjust their development strategies, enhance business techniques and re-integrate current human recourses and technical factors according to market and environmental changes to better suit and create market as well as to optimize operating profits thru internal management reinforcement. Overall integration of banking business system is one of the major measures to consolidate human resource and techniques. From information technology, the author cuts in directly to the point that domestic commercial bank must speed up integration of financial computerization system, fully enhance core business operation and management in order to meet the challenge on kernel competitiveness in cruel financial market. The integration of commercial bank computerization is a comprehensive systematic program that relates to factors such as commercial bank management concept, core business, channel business, organization structure as well as risk control. Firstly, based on above-mentioned factors of bank management, operation and core business, the author suggests that commercial bank implement BPR theory and scale economy theory with integration of business system. The author also points out current problems of commercial banks in detail, analyzes the effect and benefit of implementation of system integration, and brings out content and measures for system integration, i.e., management on technology, project, data and risk control. Secondly, taking JS Bank, Chongqing Branch as example, the author analyzes and designs an overall framework for commercial bank computerization integration, expounds recreated business processing procedures, and pictures out how provincial branches implement business system integration in order to consolidate domestic data by region. Lastly, the author discusses on function orientation and business development after the integration of commercial bank business system. The thesis adopts an effective research approach combining theory and practice. The author emphasizes feasibility of integration of commercial bank computerization, analyzes integration objective, demand, procedure reform and planning and brings up concrete strategies and procedures. Some contents referring to banking specialty and information techniques have been skimmed by the author without undermining the structure and major concepts of the thesis.
