But in our country's current law, the legal control over the petrol car is very scarce, and the legal control over the petrol car's tail gas is almost blank. This is extremely unfavorable to control the petrol car's tail gas, thus unfavorable to the improvement of the contradiction between the petrol car's development and atmospheric environment, mankind's living environment. This text starting with the legal control of the petrol car's tail gas, it is divided into five parts mainly, from the petrol car's producing stage to selling, using, management stage. It analyses the current situation of the petrol car and fuel's production, purchase tax, road maintenance cost, tail gas supervision, the petrol car retrieve, and puts forward the suggestions of further improvement, it founds different purchase tax and fuel tax, in order to set up a controlling petrol car's tail gas legal system to reduce the petrol car's tail gas and avoid the air pollution and fuel consumption, encourages the development of small displacement petrol car and clean automobile, finally to structure a harmony and developing society and achieve the mankind's continuous development.
