The Research About Development Of Political Culture And Construction Of Socialism Political Civilization In The New Days Of China

With the prosperity in economy and enrichment in ideology in this new era of China, we are experiencing a shift from tradition to modernization in the political domain. How to abandon side effect of historical politics and meet the challenge of political transfer in the trend of globalization so as to improve political culture development and construct socialism political civilization is a primary task in the promotion of socialism modernization. It is also a fundamental research project for the theorists. This paper discusses with three parts on how to develop Chinese political culture in various circumstances and on the approaches to construct socialism political civilization.Part I is based on the review from classical theories to contemporary debates on the concept of socialism political civilization, thus by confirming its connotation, fixes on its status in the overall civilization system and its relationship with"two civilizations".Part II focus on the Chinese political civilization development in the new era and mainly introduces the general matter and present condition. Because Chinese political civilization experiences a long history from ancient time till present, its modern form features on its Chinese characteristics which are born out of traditional political civilization, directed by the Marxism, affected by western political civilization and are ever improving during the process.Part III searches for the approaches to promote the development of political culture and to construct Chinese political civilization. This part first proves political culture is the foundation of socialism construction in political civilization. Then by aiming at boosting our political culture to a higher level, this part sets four basic measures: 1) establishing and following proper directing ideology suitable for the present time; 2) adopting the good part of traditional political culture and civilization; 3) further educating people's culture, establishing people's political ideology; 4) unifying the leadership of the Party, the mastership of the people and the authority of the law, driving the construction of socialism political civilization going safe and sound.
