The Cultural Conditions For The Construction Of Political Civilization In Socialism With Chinese Characteristics

The construction of the political civilization and the cultural construction are boththe important consists of the socialism with Chinese characteristics, and there are someinseparable connections between them. As the core word for both political civilizationand culture, the civilization is not only the pursuit of the political development, butalso the final adscription of the cultural development. Accordingly, the development ofculture will promote the advancement of the civilization for one point, and the stabilitydevelopment of the construction on the political civilization for another. Currently, theeconomic construction has been the hard power for the construction of the politicalcivilization, but the soft power of culture still restraint it. For this sake, we shouldstudy the way to construct the political civilization from the angle of the culturalconditions constructed. Which can not only promote the civilization of our country, butalso furtherance the common progress of political civilization and culturaldevelopment.There has been a lot of research on the way to construct the political civilization,but it is not a familiar angle for such kind of study on the cultural construction. It is avery important point for the construction of both the politics and culture. The favorableecological condition of culture will offer the rational identity of the politics, the cultureand the whole country, and it also offer the source power for the construction ofpolitical civilization. On the basis of reading lots of materials, this paper will carry outthe study from three parts as follows:The first part analyze the theoretical logic between the political civilization andthe cultural development. Firstly, this paper analysis the mutual relationships of thepolitics, the culture and the civilization. There is an integral affinity between thepolitics and the civilization. The politics originated in the expectation. The culture andthe civilization are of close concern to each other, and the civilization is the theoreticalattribution of the dialectical development of the culture. For this case, we gains suchconclusion that the political civilization is the logical core of the political culture.Secondly, this paper reads the basic connotation of the political civilization from theangle of cultural philosophy of Marxism, and tries to analysis the cultural forms of thepolitical consciousness, the political institution, the political action and the politicalsubject separately. At the last, the paper interprets the cultural inner meaning of the twophrases China characteristics and the socialism in front of the political civilization, and then analyze the cultural location of them.The second part lays emphasis on the cultural ecological condition that thepolitical civilization faced with from the practical angle. First of all, this paper sorts outthe theoretical route and the practical course of the political civilization, and sums upthe interrelated results that gains during the period. Secondly this paper points out thatthe political civilization and the cultural development are advanced along the orbit ofdialectical inheritance and innovation, and then summarize the cultural atmosphere andthe cultural sustainment that supported by the developing of the cultural theory andpractice for the construction of the political civilization. Lastly, this paper analyze thecultural bottleneck that the political civilization encounters during the process of thedeep construction according to the developing course of both the culture and thepolitical civilization, that is to say, the relative backward situation of the civic culture,the institutional culture and the public culture.The last part ponders the construction of cultural conditions deeply for promotingthe construction of political civilization in socialism with Chinese characteristics. Atthe first, the paper analyzes the problems and conflicts arose during the developingprocess for the theory and the practice of the political civilization and culturalconstruction. There are some interactive relationship which cannot be ignored betweenthe culture and the political civilization in theory, but it isn’t a good interactiverelationship in practice, because there is short of the corresponding interlinkingbetween the theory and the practice. What’s more, the developing processes betweenthe theory and the practice of both the culture and the political civilization each gotheir own way, and at the same time, as the theory takes the lead, which will bring outthe crisis of the identity for the practice of the political civilization. This paper try tocarry on the cultural self-examinations from three main aspects to analyze theproblems and the conflicts. The self-examinations as follows: whether the choice of thetraditional culture is moderate; whether the construction of the characteristic culture isall-round; whether the introduction of the foreign culture is proper. In the next place,this paper sorts out three sides to construct the cultural coordinate for the constructionof political civilization form the macro level. The least but not the last, the paper getsits ultimate goal, and puts forward the concrete cultural conditions for the deepconstruction of the political civilization, which can be described as one-transformationand four-location for short. The one-transformation points to the transformation fromtraditional culture to the contemporary connotation of political civilization. The four-location refers to the four aspects as following: creating the rational culture,innovating the institutional culture, regulating the behavior culture and building thecivic culture.It is an important and unavoidable dimension for the development andadvancement of our socialist cause that to discuss the construction of politicalcivilization in socialism with Chinese characteristics from the angel of constructing thecultural conditions. The prosperous culture has been the highest goal of the socialdevelopment. Therefore, the advancement of political civilization should also beaccumulated by the developing of the culture. The problem that should be solved ishow to realize the advancement of the political civilization on the basis of the culturaldeveloping with the background of Chinese characteristics. Meanwhile, there is also aneager hope that this kind of research can bring out more thinking on cultural conditionsfor the construction of the political civilization, so then we can get wider view on thepolitical civilization and the cultural developing.
