Preliminary Exploration On The Problem Of International Political Socialization

Political socialization is the logical intermediary of any political and social continuity, memory, changes, and development. Through the process of socialization, the customs, the system of norms, values and so on which have already existed in the community may have been in the whole of society by promoting and popularizing. It is through political socialization process mentioned above, the role of the individual changed from the natural identity before entering a political community, to a political role, and so the performs of political functions as part of specific structural elements of the political system begin. In the international political disciplines, accompanied by the rise of the scientific positivism, and methodological behaviorism revolutionary of the second debate by the end of World War II ,and identified by the continuing debate of the neo-realism and neo-liberalism , the systematized theory has fully occupied the core positions of the research field of macroscopic international relations theory. However, compared with the extensive research on its stage and function of the process political socialization in the field of comparable politics, it remains a deplorable weakness for the western mainstream international relations theory that the discussion and inquiry of political socialization which are closely related with the stability of system and starts the interaction between individual and system both superficial and be paid little importance to. In recent years, with the rise of the theory of constructivism and in-depths research on the conceptual and cultural factors in the process of international politics, the manifestations, the impact of phase of the process of political socialization in international politics have become accepted by scholars gradually for its value and significance, and the frequency of the use of the word"socialization"also increased in the papers and monographs of foreign scholars. Current problems are that there are so little monograph concentrating on the problem of international political socialization and when domestic international relations scholars come to this subject, they most likely follow the perspective of foreign scholars on both the theory and comments, so...
