This thesis tries to probe into Locke' s liberalism political moral thought from the breakthrough point of liberty. Liberty is human' s natural birthright, which is the self-evident premise and theoretic presupposition of Locke' s politic theories. This fundamental runs through both Locke' s works and politics. The acquirement and guarantee of liberty is vocation of the civic government and result from the exaltation of individual inherent quality as well. Human become liberty because human break away from not only external compulsory forces but also inner restriction. The kernel of Locke' s liberalism is to affirm individual value and dignity and to respect and safeguard individual rights and interest. Locke prizes the right of liberty and he demonstrates a whole string of politic system and theoretic principles. In conclusion, Locke' s liberty and its actualization are filled with his sparkling wit and incarnate his personal fascination humanistic brilliance.In the first place, the thesis summarizes the theoretic basis, rationale and the connotation of Locke' s theory, which paves the way for discussing his political moral thought. Secondly, the thesis expatiates on Locke' s political moral thought from four aspects: constitutional government, religion, property and education. Constitutional government, religion and property cast off compulsion from external to safeguard liberty while moral education slips the leash from inner to acquire liberty. The former presents the rational project of Locke' s political religion and the latter reveals Locke' s ethic thought from the other side. Thirdly, it states briefly the historic influences of Locke' s liberalism political moral thought. Lastly, the thesis makes a brief summary of Locke' s liberalism political moral thought.
