In all ages, the Chinese race didn't decline after suffering crucifixion; and it became more powerful though it has experienced many vicissitudes of life. Why could it be the only one among the several ancient civilizations in the world as it goes down to the present after discontinuity? Because the ethos is commonly recognized and universally respected by the Chinese race and plays an important role.The ethos is the embodiment of the unitary nation's agglomeration force; the essence of the race culture and the soul of the race consciousnesses; the excellent and far-forth ideality, nobility and stability ideal, which are put up actively and vitally in the historical activities.It consists of global view, philosophy and values that the race identifies with, and the mode of thinking and the behavior methods. The ideal faith and ethos came into being via long-term historical deposition during the practice of changing the nature and transforming the society.The history has already stepped into the 21st century. During the new century, the Chinese race must continue inheriting and developing the ethos if it wants to succeed among the woods of races in the world.
