With the rapid development of information technology, the internet economy is effecting people's lives seriously. As an advanced way of trade, the electronic commerce brings newly complete changes for people. While enjoying the convenience and efficiency of electronic commerce, the consumers also possibly confront unfavorable elements more ofen than that in traditional commerce. Thus the legal protection of consumers' rights and interests appears extremely important. The law protection in respect of consumers' rights and interests in our country is simple in content but also scattered over in the Genernal Rule of the Civil Law, the Contract Law, the Law of Peoples' Republic of China on Protection of Consumers' Rithts and Interests, etc. Why are the consumers in more disadvantageous status? What is the form of expression? How to establish a fair consumption environment? The settlement of thest problems has an impact on the interests of both engaged parties as well as the interests balance of our country and future development of electronic commerce.Based on the influence and challenges brought by electronic commerce for consumers' rights and interests and connected with the present situation of external consumers' rights and interests, this article has a preliminary research on above correlative problems.
