With the further development of globalization, the number of international organizations has rapidly increased, and the function of them has been greatly expanded. The international organizations'influence on national sovereignty has become an important research subject. This article tries to start from the United Nations-the biggest comprehensive international organization, inspects from its history and presence to the influence on the national sovereignty. This article thinks the United Nations itself has contradiction with the national sovereignty, but in its over 60- year course, it actually presents the periodical characteristics to the national sovereignty influence. During the time of the Cold War, the United Nations'function was restricted by the international situation, but the United Nations respected and maintained the national sovereignty, and passed a series of manifestos, resolutions and treaties. These had enriched the connotation of the national sovereignty. After the Cold War, the world pattern has been tremendously changed, the economic globalization becomes the mainstream, and the global problems become prominent, thus the function of the United Nations is enhanced. However, in the process of maintaining international peace and security, the promotion of economic development, the improvement of the global management,the United Nations increases its corrosion and restriction on the national sovereignty .This changes is related with the changes of international power structure, and also the strengthen of international society dependence,these changes have their objective necessity. Facing this kind of developing tendency, from one aspect, the states must obtain dialectical and developmental sight towards the sovereignty, building up an advanced view on the sovereignty. But from another aspect, they should also possess an international view, and develop themselves by making use of the advantages the world can provide, in order to enhance their national interests, so that they can do better in maintaining their sovereignty.
