At present, our country is in a crucial period of economic transition, and corruption is a major pollutant that threaten the success of economic transition and healthy economic development, social stability and unity. The severe corruption situation caused the attention of the party and government. My academic research was concentrated on the problem of corruption in political science, sociology and law fields, from economics research results less. The ethesis expounded the connotations of corruption on the basis of the characteristics of our transition. I analyzed the phenomenon of corruption from the perspective of economics, the use of system theory analysis of its institutional economics related causes, the use of trust agency theory, the theory and cost-benefit analysis of the theory of rent-seeking theory of economics of corruption have profound economic causes.
