Knowledge Economy And Exploration And Challenge Of Socialist Development

A new economic form supported by knowledge and technology, knowledge economy, is concemed widely by the world with the development trend which can not be changed by any anybody. This is the destined result of the social development, and will necessarily bring about the change of the world structure. As to the developed countries, the advent of the knowledge economy ages is a success which will come when conditions are ripe, and is also the inevitable result of the productivity development. However, as to the developing countries what are during the course of industrialization, its advent is an uninvited guest. In the current socialistic China, the knowledge economy is knocking at the door of our country. It is not only a challenge but also an opportunity. On the one hand, rigorous challenges come from the drastic competition in the high-tech realm among all the countries and from the rapid economic development and the enhancement of the comprehensive national strength in the developed countries. On the other hand, the new technology revolution, which is like a rising wind and scudding clouds, shows clearly us that it is much likely for us to enter the array of the world economic giant and technical great power in the knowledge economy ages if we can throw ourselves into the torrent of the knowledge economy timely and efficiently.This paper follows the idea that the advent of the knowledge economy will make the social productivity develop widely, and takes it as a clew to discuss about the problems related to the "Knowledge Economy" and those of the knowledge economy related to the development future of Socialism. This paper includes mainly five parts as follows:First, the intrinsic compatibility between the knowledge economy . The knowledge economy is the foundation of the socialistic productivity. The nature of the knowledge economy leads to the socialistic public ownership. The social nature of the knowledge economy is high socialization, it requires sharing in information and knowledge, and the tendency has already been shown. The highly developed social productivity will provide the requirements of realizing the public ownership when the knowledge economy develops to some extent.Second, Socialism faces challenges in the knowledge economy times. The socialistic countries face greater challenges than the developed countries when they meet with the advent of the knowledge economy. The west capitalistic developed countries adjust the economy structure at the base of the perfect and mature market economy to realize the transform from the developed industry economy to the knowledge economy. However, the socialistic countries is in the difficult circumstance where the industrialization has not been finished and the market economy is still infant, and carries out its difficult transition under the medium-term condition of industrialization and in the course of the transform from the planned economy to the market economy. The persuasion of the Socialism's advantages is challenged. In the knowledge economy times, the intrinsic structure of the proletariate has be changed, and it is difficult for the requirement of the proletariate revolution to come forth.
