The ASEAN (The Association of the Southeast Asian Nations), with the issuing of "The Bangkok Declaration" in 1967 as the symbol of its establishment, has so far developed itself into one of vital regional organizations. Enjoying the strategic position and abundant resources, ASEAN gradually occupies an important place in great powers' foreign policies. As a common neighbor, China and India share the comparative superiority of the cooperation with ASEAN, and their spheres of their interest have extended due to their ever-increasing economic development. Therefore, how to adjust their foreign policies on ASEAN in the shifting situations, how to comprehend each other's adjustments to respond to the ASEAN's strategy and how to pursue sustainable and possible win-win prospects on the basis of peace, stability and prosperity in Southeast Asia, is coming to the focus of policymakers and scholars in China and India.
