On Foreign Trade Agency In China

On July 1st 2004, the implement of the newly revised Law of Foreign Trade has brought out some sparkling spots compared with the implement of the Law of Foreign Trade in 1994. The most sparkling spot in the revised Law of Foreign Trade is that the law endows everyone with the right of foreign trade, and changes the examination and approval style into registration style. Thus, the new foreign agency system has been legislatively formed. The development history of the foreign trade in our country proves that the examination and approval style in the foreign trade is not good for the development of the foreign trade. When the revised Law of Foreign Trade comes into force, many foreign trade agents or enterprises subjectively think that it is not necessary to have agents in the process of foreign trade for every one can join the foreign. The author thinks that this opinion is too subjectively and begins to analyze this phenomenon and discuss the problems in foreign trade agency system. At last give out the conclusion that the foreign trade agency system will not disappear but will have a prosperous future.The first part in the thesis introduces some problems in the examination and approval styled foreign trade agency and discusses that the new registration styled foreign trade agency has legislatively formed.
