The contradiction between teaching requirements and learning needs is not only the basic contradiction in teaching but also the major contradiction that restricts the teaching effects of police school philosophical lesson. This article firstly demonstrates why the contradiction between teaching requirements and learning needs is the expression of the basic contradiction in teaching aspect. And then the teaching tactics, cognition matching strategy and form matching strategy, are put forward. They can effectively solve the contradiction between teaching requirements and learning needs. Lastly the author defines the significances that solve the contradiction between police school philosophy teaching requirements and learning needs. Those significances mainly refer to establishing the teaching concept that the students are the center. In that way can we make the students change " forcing me to study" into " I must study". We can meet the students' study requirements and arouse their study motive by teaching. Thereby the police school philosophical teaching effect can be improved.
