Research On Euthanasia

There have been various views about life and death through the ages. Since the 60's of the 20th century, euthanasia has gradually been becoming a hotspot that people commonly pay attention to; day by day, there have been more and more activities and legislations concerning about it. It is the Netherlands and Belgium who firstly pass the bill of euthanasia. In reality, when we face death, it is not whether we accept it or not, it is, on another hand, how we accept it. Euthanasia which is a social issue just appears complied with the time development. However, it is such a complicated comprehensive society issue that involves physic, ethic, morality, law, sociology, philosophy and many other fields. Ever since euthanasia appeared, inevitably, it causes a time consuming disputation, which is as long as several dozens of years abroad. And it has been brought into our country and has been attracting social attention more and more.This article begins with the concept and the history evolution of euthanasia; via the acquaintances obtained from the disputation abroad concerning euthanasia, analyses in the point of view of ethic and morality, inherency and human rights, criminal law. The article also analyses and answers questions concerning legalization of euthanasia, clarifies the necessity and feasibility in the modern civilized society implementations; thereby, gives the conclusion that euthanasia should be legalized. And then the article clarifies the principle of euthanasia. By taking the references from the law system abroad, the article investigates the conception of legalization of euthanasia; proposes the idea that euthanasia should be legalized in our country , in order to make euthanasia legalized in China soon.
