| Trademark dilution refers to the act of reducing and blurring identification and distinctiveness of famous trademarks as well as those with a certain popularity with the result of impairing or tranishing the reputation of business. In nature, firstly, trademark dilution is the act of infrigement on trademark rights, and then, it is also a kind of unfair competition act. With its features, such unfair competition takes place between the practitioners and other operators who run the same business.Beginning with the theoretical foundation of famous trademark dilution, this thesis, based on an investigation of theories and legislation of famous trademark dilution of various countries, analyses the deficiency of our protection for the famous trademark dilution and then put forward of our country measure to anti-dilution.
