A Strategical Study On The Government Image In The Linguistic Environment Of Constructing The Socialist Harmonious Society

Human being has created rich and colorful images in the long history. These images are playing a more important and critical part than ever in our social life. One of them is government image. Along with the development of socialism market economy and political democratization, the public has a higher expectation on our government. Due to this, the government image has become a national concern and is viewed as an important criterion used for assessing government achievements and ability. One of important topics is, however, how to create a good government image in our society.The key to forming a good government image lies in the communication. The communication is one of human most ancient activities, born that way. Humanity's survival and the development, the moment cannot leave to the information gain and the communication. All the design concerning government image, must be able to realize through the communication.Presently, there are lots of prominent problems related to the government image communication in our country. The image project is a commendatory term originally, in recent years changed flavor. The people are separated from some the construction project which is meanless, tires the people and squanders resources to reprimand it "the image project" or the government achievements project. In fact, these projects cannot mold the government image the project, but are so-called formalism projects which largely harm the government image. In recent years with the enlargement of the opening up, many local governments begin to attach importance to the communication of government image,city image and regional image.But they mostly paused in some time interval activity, deficiently had the long term plan with the strategic sense.Therefore,in the image-oriented times and from a strategic perspective, this dissertation strategically researchs the government image and has the certain theory value and the practical significance,taking communication as the angle of view, chooesing the linguistic environment of constructing the Socialist harmonious society, taking the Guilin government as the main case.This study will mainly use the document to study the theory about the communication of government image,and use Questionnaire and Depth interviews the dissemination of government image and the construction of harmonious society using the method of literature review. Questionnaire and Depth interviews will be used to investigate and assess the main characteristics and communication effects of the Guilin government image. In the base of the above,the principles and methodologies from political science, public and administrative science, and media science will be used for this study. The latest development in research on government image from domestic and foreign will also be cited in this study. Finally, a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods will be used for the data analyses.
