On The Education Of Youth Ideal And Belief During The Period Of Important Strategy And Opprtunity

Lofty ideal and belief are the spiritual pillars for one's life, which will produce a positive, vigorous strength and resolution. It is impossible that a person does not have any ideal and belief, because this is the main distinction between human beings and animals besides the making and using of tools. Therefore, scientific ideal and belief are essential to the growing of young people. Based upon realistic situation of ideal and belief in the youth and associated with the backdrop of the important strategic opportunity period in China, this paper tries to provide the youth with new perspectives and proposals for the training in ideal and blief , which are divided into four parts.The first part of the article analyzes theoretically the meaning of ideal, belief and the important strategic opportunity period in China, finding out the true connotation and extension by further interpreting the concept, relationship, feature and significance of ideal and belief. The second part explains the necessity and meaning of upholding ideal and belief in the important strategic period, calling for the strengthening in the establishment of correct ideal and belief in the youth. All of these have been proven either by historical experience or realistic inspiration, global tide or domestic situation. In the third part, the problems and causes in the ideal and belief of the modern young people during the important strategic period are analyzed. The importance and necessity to enhance the training for ideal and belief in young people are made prominent. The main methods to promote the ecucation in ideal and belief for young people are discussed in the fourth part of this paper. The development of our society and the attention from the party and the government for the ideal and belief in the young have fully shown that young people can become qualified force in the modern drive of our motherland only by setting up proper ideal and belief. Therefore, it is necessary for us to establish solid and correct ideal and belief in the young, on the basis of excellent tradions of our nation, by absorbing all civilised achievements of human beings, and through richful methods such as innovation, practice, theoretical training, demonstration and other forms,etc.
