Study On Sustainable Motivation

Motivation is an issue which is researched in multi-disciplines, and as an important principle and method of ideological work,the theory of motivation and the model of motivation need be innovated in China in the new era when the human-oriented concept is becoming accepted by more and more people.First, based on the documents about the theory of motivation covering management science,economics,psychology and education science home and abroad, the new opinion of sustainable motivation which is identified by the target of self-motivation,is presented. Second, in the research of new idea, some basic problems including the major concepts such as motivation,need and motive, the theoretical foundation referred to the motivation idea of Marxism and humanism philosophy , the hypothesis of the new theory and its importance are all examined. Especially,the human hypothesis,as the logical starting point of motivation theory,is sufficiently illustrated. In addition,the mechanism of obstacle in the motivation activities is also examined ,which is useful to the further research of sustainable motivation. Furthermore, the mechanism of mental activity,which consists of mental process,outer conditions and progress of mental activities,is analyzed ,and by carrying out the principles of sustainable motivation, the system of all-around dynamical motivation is founded. Finally, the new theory is carried out in the work of ideological education in colleges.In summary,the points of innovation lie in two aspects:one is the ferment of motivation ideas from western culture,Chinese tradition and Marxism,the other is the model of sustainable motivation which is much different from general motivation. As a result,the idea on sustainable motivation may be viewed as the key to the optimal motivation.
