Study Of Concerned Laws Of The IVF-ET

This paper tries to analyze and explore international concerned laws of TEST-TUBE BABY by employing several hot-discussing issues caused by the technique of IVF-ET. By observing concerned regulations of other countries and different opinions world wide, the study provides several pieces of advice for the country to make further improvement in this area. As one kind of assisted reproductive technique, the TEST-TUBE BABY, which is also called IN VITRO FERTILIZATION -EMBRYO TRANSFER (IVF-ET), mainly includes OVER-PRODUCT SPERM BY MEDICINE, IVF-ET, INTRACYTOPLASMIC SPERM INJECTION (ICSI), PREIMPLANTATION GENETIC DIAGNOSIS (PGD), FREEZING TECHNIQUE and so on. The goals of IVF-ET are to settle the problem of sterility and have more favorable babies. The application and development of IVF-ET not only break down the natural regulation of human reproduction, it also cause many problems in such aspects as society, ethics and laws. Many developed countries have launched exploration of legislation on this case. In our country, IVF-ET is growing fast though it commenced late. However, we are facing how-do-you-do due to lack of legislation. Urgently, we should set up concerned laws in this area as soon as possible by studying experiences of other counties and combining with our own situation. Only through this, can we make the pubic healthier and happier.
