Study On Policies Of Deepening Town Hukou System Reform In China

Domicile control is an important foundational work of the government social management and public service. It is as well the precondition and guarantee for the public to participate in the social activities and fulfill the rights endowed by the law. With market oriented economy system reform going further, being the product of the planned economy, the disadvantage of the domicile system is more and more obvious, and it can not be adapt to the development of the market economy. It is urgent to reform the domicile system today.In the recent years, with the central government loosing the power, the power of local governments is increasing. The local government published a series of domicile system reform policies and rules. This thesis mainly coordinate and sum up the policy files published by local governments, so as to better know about the management innovation and confronted difficulties of the local governments, and focuses on Jiangyin domicile system reform. Thirdly, taking Jiangyin domicile system reform as an example, detail investigates the achievements of domicile system reform in Jiangyin, analyzes some issues brought to the local area during the domicile system reform.
