This thesis is going to analysis the elements of the irrationality in the horizon of the ideological and political education as the topic, and enclose the reason, content, and technique in the factors of the irrationality in ideological and political education, also analyze the factors of the irrationality's position and effect in ideological and political education. The aim is leading the irrational elements'zealousness action, to strength the ideological and political education's timely.Human's spirit is composed of rationality and irrationality in regard to the integrity. A real and integrated person is a unification of rationality and irrationality, body and soul, intellect and emotion. As this two parts'unification, make the human's spirit develops in full scale. From the development process of the human'spirit, it can be called both as the development history of rationality and irrationality. However, the unification of rationality and irrationality of human's spirit is one thing, and people's cognition to its is another thing.Ancient Greece'philosopher Scocrates put forward to"to cognition yourself", people have been cognized"human",whereas nobody cognize oneself and the function of the unification of rationality and irrationality. People either emphasise the function of rationality and degrade the function of irrationality or lay particular emphasis on irrationality to use it to cover rationality. As Engels mentioned in Natural Dialectics:"We should not sacrifice one but to flatter the other up high sky . We should use each where it should be .To arrive at this, we must pay much attention to the correlation mutual replenishment between them."Ideological and political education, though is think of as the research of the human's spirit science, and as the research of the human's development in full scale, even if research the human's irrational elements problem, ought to hold in the unification of rational elements and irrational elements. We can regard Engels'words as our guiding ideology in study of the ideological and political education's irrationality problem. This is the objective needs in the society's transformation, this is still the demands of the developments in full scale ,this is also the insurance of the human spirit'change.Rationality and irrationality are"two wings"of human cognition, unification the"two wings"compose the human's entire cognition structure and human'nature structure, in the same breath ,both sides is in the contradiction's opposite way, and are in the kinds of the unity of opposites relationship, each one establish itself in the object'stand, its means irrationality establish itself in rationality'stand. so, in the second parts of the thesis, first of all definite the rationality's notion, this is the precondition to definite the irrationality's notion. Basis the rationality's notion, in Epistemology, Consciousness theory and the theory of human nature, three stratification definite the irrationality's notion. Need to say, the function of irrationality in ideological and political education, is indicated by the irrational elements. So, this thesis definite the notion of the irrational elements, The so–called irrational elements infer to illogical thinking way and intrinsic instination of subjective psychological structure which emerged from the cognitive subject in the process of cognition. The former is a unconscious cognitive faculty including intuition, inspiration and sudden realization etc. The latter is a spirit strength, although it is a dependent element, it penetrates into the cognition and activity of subject so as to promote the development of human cognition, which including emotion, determination, unconsciousness, faith and desire etc.We analyze the irrational elements in ideological and political education, in order to resolve the concrete problem in ideological and political education. In the third parts of the thesis, process from desire, feeling, will and faith these irrational elements, specific analyze the irrational elements'action and position in ideological and political education. To analyze these irrational elements is not the aim, the aim is leading the irrational elements'zealousness action, to strength the ideological and political education's timely. In the fourth parts of the thesis, is the essential location and innovation place. The author propose to lead the irrational elements zealousness action from four aspects : desire, feeling, will and faith .By inspire the desire, cultivate the emotion, stricken the will and construct the faith, to promote the timely of the ideological and political education.To research irrational elements, is not mean to favor the status and function of it, but make the educator to take the irrational elements into account, its also the need for developing Marxism theory In modern society, the development advanced scientific technology brings us Gospel, and at the same time which brings as crisis and confusion. Whereas human crisis and confusion need themselves cultivate the irrational elements for themselves and apply it to compensate and restructure for human cognition so as to solve the problem rightly and reasonably. From above, studying in irrationality problem is urgent for Marxist to answer the question of modern society and human cognition, and is first thing to develop Marxism. Consequently, studying in irrationality problem has most important practical and theoretical significance.
