Social Vulnerable Groups On Transitional China

This thesis try to analyze the social vulnerable groups on transitional China on the perspective of social stratification. The main purpose is to uncover the reasons of social structure which make these vulnerable groups appear.The whole thesis is composed of five parts.The first part is an introduction, describing the significance of the topic, the research idea and the issues which related to the current status.The second part is from the second chapter to the forth chapter, illustrating the theory of social stratification, vulnerable groups and the combination of the two.The third part is chapter five, which is also the core of this thesis, according to the transitional reality of China, applying the Marxist theory of class and Weber's theory of social stratification to analyze the current social situation of vulnerable groups and the reasons why they are vulnerable.The forth part is chapter six, pointing out that we should recognize the current status of vulnerable groups, protect and support the social vulnerable groups in policies, laws and systems. And thus can we achieve the goal of common prosperity, build up a harmonious society in China.
