Study On Social Security System Of Peasant Workers

Peasant workers form one most populated and now further increasing social group among non-agricultural industrial groups in china's rural area. They also constitute one special group when china is undergoing its unique system transfer,structure shift and social transformation. Due to the arrangement of the status scale system of China social security rights and benefits, peasant workers and city workers, sharing the same city,enterprises, possessing the same working qualities, and engaging in the same type of job, accept obviously different economic and social treatment.As far as I am concerned, the trick to deal with the separation of peasant workers labor relations and social security relations, is to trade rural "field security" for urban "social security" on the basis of peasant workers' self-reliance and willingness.The thesis is in accordance with the arguments on social security in western economic theories and Marxism as basic theories. It also constructs peasant workers social security system during the transitional period of China's shifting from dual social security mode to single social security mode. The thesis, in accordance of sustainable,exchangeable and operative principles, points out countermeasures and suggestions on peasant workers social security system of this "special period" at the starting point of "equality" and "efficiency".
