Research On Legal Problems Of Peasant-worker's Social Security System

As one focus of the attentions of the whole society, problems on peasant-workers, especially the social security for them, has been a hot issue at present.On the basis of analyzing status quo of peasant-workers and redefining the concept of peasant-workers, this thesis point out that 'peasant-workers' is a title without sound legal basis but with discrimination on citizenship. Based on analyzing the nature of vulnerable groups, this thesis does not think peasant-workers belong to vulnerable groups. On the contrary, Peasant-workers should enjoy equal rights, just as other labors do. On ground of inspection on legal status about Peasant-workers', this article discussed the legal basis of their legal status which could be the legal fundament of establishing social security for them. On this basis, this paper discusses the necessity and feasibility of the establishment of social security for Peasant-workers. Finally, the author put forwards her suggestions on how to establish this social security institution.
