Analysis Of The Changes Of Social Class Stratum In China Since China's Reform & Opening-up

Since the Third Session of the Eleventh Central Community of the Party, our country has entered a brand-new development time for the comprehensive reform and opening- up. The reform and opening -up policy has made social productive forces obtain the unprecedented liberation and the development; and has remarkably enhanced the comprehensive national strength; and has greatly improved the people's living standard. At the same time,it has also deepened the transformation of our social stratum structure. Therefore, how to coordinate various social classes and how to make them be in good relations, how to rationalize the social classes stratum have already become a big problem. The new changes of the social class stratum will surely pose such questions whether our party's social class foundation will be unceasingly consolidated or not; whether the party's mass base will continue to expand or not; whether our party's social influence will unceasingly strengthened or not; whether the socialist harmonious society will be constructed or not. This article, based on the studies of the others, analyses the changes of the social class stratum structure since China's reform and opening-up and puts forward some solutions to make our country's social class structure how to met the need of the economic development.First part: The Overall Analysis of the Present Situation of Our Country's Social Class Structure .The author begins with the brief analysis of social class structure before the Third Session of the Eleventh Central Community of the Party ; then analyzes in detail the changes of our country's working class, farmer class and the intellectual class; finally analyzes the situation in which our society's ten big social stratum appeared from the splitting of"two classes, one stratum".Second part: The Analysis of the primary causes of the social class structural changes. Since the reform and opening-up policy, China's social class stratum has got great changes due to political system as well as economic system. The abolishing of the political status ; the disintegration of the People's Commune ; and the less number of householders account for the political causes; the changes of the system of ownership structure and the changes of the distribution system as well as the establishment and development of the socialist market economy are responsible for the economic reasons; the continual readjustment of the industrial structure and the urbanized advancement have made large quantities of labor forces transformed unceasingly, which has further affected the changes of China's social class structure.Third part: The detailed analysis of the situation of the new social class as well as their influence .On the original base of"two social class, social stratum", China has appeared six new social strata, which has had great influence on the Chinese society. The new social classes are the socialist constructors, who have played a positive role in terms of maintaining social stability; further deepening the reform, the promotion of economic development and society's comprehensive progress. But, the new social stratum has caused internal differentiation among the original various social strata; their politic and the economic interest are in obvious contrast; in addition, the development of the new the social stratum is somewhat out of control and thus has brought some negative effect on the economic development.Fourth part: The Analysis of the existing problems and solutions or countermeasures. The current social class structure is unreasonable, and does not meet the request of the economic development ; among the various social strata there are also certain contradiction, which have hindered the social development and brings hidden danger .Therefore we must develop the productive forces and must further enlarge the reform dynamics, and must establish perfect systems in order to rationalize social class structure, which will consolidate the Communist Party's ruling status and the construction of harmonious socialist society.
