For freedom, from ancient to nom philosophers have made a different elaboration, but too excessive about the description of the freedom phenomenon, and they did not know why people does need to be free, and what is the foundation of freedom. Although Marx established materialist conception of history, he did not make a direct elaboration about the issue of freedom. Therefore, nowadays, the research of Marx's theory of freedom concept doesn't form a unified understanding, and its real meaning is still waiting for revealed. Although some scholars interpret the Marx's concept of freedom with the method of practice At most point out the method of get freedom, not point out that freedom is one kind of human's material activities, is the societal wealth which is created by humankind to use for control our behaviour. Therefore when they define the word"freedom'', they indicate it by the ontology or the epistemology. In this paper, in order to understand the real meaning Marx's concept of freedom, we begin with his early theory of freedom. Despite the early thinking is immature, we can also understand Marx's thinking process, which is rather necessary in the research of freedom. With this intention, the paper briefly describes the preamble of the current interpretation of Marx's theory of freedom. I point out their flaws, and put forward my opinion. In the first﹑two﹑three parts, mainly elaborate Marx's evolution theory of freedom. In this process of change, Marx's theory of freedom experience process of immature to mature, until established scientific theory of freedom. In this process of change we think that Marx concerned about the real lives of freedom to guide the direction of his research. Separate from the direction, is impossible to establish scientific communism. Especially to participate in political struggle, Marx clearly to realize that material interest play a very important role among people. This is a great turning point in the thinking of Marx .Just Engels sends Richard Fischer the letter said:"I am completely sure, because I have heard Marx said more once. For his study on the law of forest theft and the condition of farmers in Mosel River land, impelled him to turn study of a purely political to economic relations, and thus toward socialism''Seize the struggle of the material interest, from this entrance use, we can find the laws of social development, a scientific theory of freedom is very easy to revealed. Along this line, at the end of this paper, we elaborate the real meaning of the theory of Marx's freedom from material interest.
