Wealth development is an old but evergreen issue. The pursuit of wealth is the original force of the existence and development of human society. Under the background of economic globalization, science and technology revolution continuously developed and modernization continuously deepened. People showed unprecedented enthusiasm to the wealth. However, people still understand the wealth just from the angle of the object. They simply equate the production of wealth creation to the abstract numbers or things of accumulated material wealth. In fact, we urgently call for a scientific view of wealth in order to guide the relationships between the development of people and the wealth. It reflexes the original meaning of "the scientific view of development". Marxist thoughts of wealth based on the history. The part of preface mainly raises question and explains research status, as well as the significance of research and research mentality. The first chapter traces the Marx’s historical investigation about wealth. It mainly talks about the dominant form of economy and characteristics about the various forms in three social forms. The second chapter of the content deeply explores the theories of Marx about wealth problem. It respectively discourse the theories of wealth in detail in four aspects from the origin of wealth, the wealth of content, the scale of the wealth and the distribution and so on. The third part reveals the humanistic essence of Marxist thoughts of wealth. It profoundly illustrates the closed links between the people and the wealth from three different angles which is about the relationship between wealth and person’s survival, the relationship between wealth and people’s life, and the relationship between wealth and person’s development. Chapter Four is an analysis of the contemporary significance of Marx’s conception of the wealth from the practical dimensions. It combined with the realistic problems of contemporary China and the western capitalist countries, discussed the realistic guiding significance of the Marxist thoughts of wealth for improving the development of modern society and the development of people, and building a "harmonious society". In this section, it respectively discussed from two different aspects about the relationship between the thoughts of wealth and the development of people, and the relationship between the thoughts of wealth and the advancement of society.
