The "Double-blade Sword" Effect Of The Social Strata's Differentiation To The Socialism Harmonious Society

Since the reform and open policy, along with the traditional society's reforming to modern society and the planned economic system's switching to the economic system of the socialism market, the social strate of our country generated the differentiation,and the structure of the old social strate is disintegrating. At the same time, we are facing the historic task. of constructing harmonious society. This will bring our society two major characteristics in current and future .First, we must construct the socialism harmonious society; Second,the differentiation of strate is on the rise. Therefore, this kind of change and differentiationon inevitably affect harmonious society's constructing. But to the construction of the harmonious society, the differentiation of the strate is "the double-edged sword".On the one hand ,it generates "the vacuum" of the social structure, the contradictions among social strate and the enlargement of income disparity,and these have destructive effect to the harmonious society. On the other hand it is advantageous to person's liberation, improving production efficiency and the rigid social structure , and thus has constructive effect to the harmonious society .This needs to take some measures, such as standardizing the differentiation,solution of the contradictions among social strate , forming middle stratum, perfecting the system of tax revenue and social security, establishing and perfecting the mechanism of benefit coordination, establishing new coordinated mechanism between the differentiation of social strata and the development of social civilization and progress, and so on.
