Nakasone Yasuhiro is the contemporary Japan renowned statesmen, once held the president of the Liberal-Democratic Party and the cabinet prime minister from 1982 to 1987. He is the Japanese defense and the diplomatic independent integration, steps by the economical power to the political power initiator and the positive realization. Nakasone is the representative personage of the neo-conservatism thought in Japan of the 80's. In the tenure in office, he utilized the experienced political skill, displayed the powerful political instruction strength, carried on the aspect of politics, administration, finance and education reform, which had the important influence to the 80's Japanese societies. Nakasone proposes the slogan "the postwar politics always makes a final accounting" and changed Japan to "political power", has initiated the world consensus widespread attention. But, the China-Japan relations also deeply influenced by Nakasone's political position and the policies which Nakasone Cabinet provided. Therefore, for comprehensively understood the relationship between China and Japan in Nakasone Cabinet, the author will penetrate studied the political idea, the policy position and the foreign strategic target of Nakasone Cabinet, and analysis how these factors influenced the China-Japan relations.Besides the introduction, this article was divided four chapters to make the comprehensive analysis and the discussion to the relationship between China and Japan in Nakasone Cabinet. Among them, the first chapter introduces the political experience of Nakasone, and his policy idea as well as his view of China. The second chapter elaborates the China-policy of Nakasone Cabinet, and also analyzes the reasons of how this policy formed. The third chapter analyzes the political relationship of China and Japan in Nakasone Cabinet, and successively studied the positive aspect and the negative aspect of the relationship between the two countries. The fourth chapter discusses the condition of the economic and trade relationship and the cultural exchange of the two countries in Nakasone Cabinet. Finally, in the conclusion, through the above analysis, the author partially summarizes the characteristic and the development tendency of the relationship between the two countries in this period time.
