The main content of the dissertation is the analysis on the status of criminalvictims in the criminal proceeding activities and the litigation rights owned herefrom,and some discussion and consideration on the relief and salvation of the rights andinterests of criminal victims, which tries to look through the status of criminal victimsin current China by expatiating the evolution of the historical status of victims andanalysing the definition and role of victims. Meanwhile, the dissertation will comparethe attitudes of some other countries in the world on criminal victims, the relevanttheoretical research and specific practice to extract beneficial experience and lessons,and then return to our country to consider: how to position victims in China's legalculture and judicatory tradition and offer the relevant litigation rights? How to relieveand salve the legal rights and interests of criminal victims? To solve the insufficiencyin the actuality and make further effort on strengthening the impartiality of judicature.Chapter one is the part of introduction, which discusses the importance ofprotecting the status and rights and interests of victims in the criminal judicaturethrough the theory of the internal impartiality of law and the thought of human rightsprotection.Chapter two to five are the detailed chapters of the research content.Chapter two simply introduces the evolution of the historical status of criminalvictims and analyse the should-be and importance of the status of victims byexpatiating the concept of victims.Chapter three introduces and compares the juridical practice of other countrieson the status and rights and interests of victims to find out beneficial ways and extractuseful experience.Chapter four analyses the shortcoming in protecting criminal victims in China toeduce the pressure and necessity of paying attention to criminal victims.Chapter five brings forward some feasible suggestion on perfecting the victimprotection mechanism from legislation, judicature, social relief and other aspects.Chapter six is the conclusion part, which discusses the purpose the researchintends to reach and the inspiration brought about to research on other legal problem.
