On The Innovation Of Socialist Ideology In Contemporary China

As the superstructure of a society's idea (or thought), social ideology isthe reflection of economic form as well as political system in a certain society. In thesociety where the social class exists, social ideology is the ideological system whichdirectly or indirectly reflects society's economic and political characteristics, it alsomanifests certain social classes' interests and requests and tries hard to maintain orchange the existed social system. Thus, the competition among different ruling classes'interests is the competition of social ideology. Facing the complex situations in bothhome and broad, how does the socialist system develop its ideology so that it willmaintain an impregnable position? It has the important theoretical value and thepractical significance for us to maintain the dominant position of socialist ideology andachieve the valid status of socialist system, which is also the focus of this thesis.This thesis is divided into five parts. Based on the unique political function of ideology, because of differenteconomic bases between capitalistic ideology and socialistic ideology, the strugglebetween these two kinds of opposite ideology can never vanish so long as the classsocieties exist.The second part gives a detailed analysis of the domestic and internationalenvironment, and through which the new situation the mainstream ideology our countryis facing and problems that need to be solved is made known to the readers. Under thecondition of globalization, we must pay more attention to the challenge which isbrought by the capitalist ideology to our mainstream ideology through internationalcapital. In the new historical condition, the best choice for ideology in facing challengeis to realize its innovation.The third part provides readers with a thorough research of the ideology innovation.The thesis elaborates the basis, realization form, guiding ideology and principle of innovation. The author thinks that, in the innovation process, we must persist in theMarxism basic principle, summarize people's great practical experience from Marx'sstandpoint, viewpoint, and method, and form the thought and idea which adapt to thebasic economic system of the primary stage of socialism. In practice, we must furtherenrich and develop Marxism, firmly take Marxism as the core content of socialistideology mainstream status. Meanwhile, we must consolidate and maintain thecommunist party's ruling status and make her always represent the most generalpopulace's basic interest. And unite the people, condense the people's strength, anddevote to the socialism modernization in order to create the condition for the realizationof human freedom and full scale development.The fourth part points out that the innovation of socialism ideology have to solvethe new problem and new request which appear in the society, consummate and developthe theory. At the same time, in the innovation process, we also cannot neglect theinnovation of theory carrier and the construction of theory performer, because they alsoplay a very important role in the theory innovation process.
