The Establishment Of Community-based Correction System In China

The purpose of Community-based Correction is intended to promote resocialization of criminal, which can be held as one way of punishment humanitarianism and human rights of judiciary, and which has become trend of development of global penal policy in modern time. The program of experimental zone of Community-based Correction has been carried out in existing criminal law frame in China from the year of 2003. This dissertation has been divided into five parts, i.e. the basic category of Community-based Correction, the argumentation foundation of Community-based Correction, the benefits and risks of Community-based Correction system in China, the feasibility study on the establishment of Community-based Correction system in China, the experimental zone and perfection of Community-based Correction in China. The purpose of this dissertation is clarifying foundation theories of Community-based Correction, and argumenting establishment with perfection of Community-based Correction system in China.
