With the rise of globalization,the trend of integration in the fields ofeconomics,politics and culture has become more and more tangible.Globalization has promoted the development of productivity , thesocialization of labor , and universal communications and capacitydevelopment of human beings. Nevertheless,national issues accompanyingglobalization have occurred and brought about many hidden dangers againstthedevelopmentofworld.Marxisttheoryofworldhistory,acomponentpartof Marxist theories,analyzes the human society and establishes a basis formaterialist methodologyfrom aunique angle. Inthis light,Marx profoundlydiscourses upon the pre-requisites and basic impetus for the formation of theworld history , characteristics of the process of the world historydevelopment,and regular patterns of its development,and theoreticallyexplores the issues on globalization,national consciousness and theirrelations. Therefore,Marxist theory of world theory is a forceful tool forcorrect understanding and analyzing the issues of globalization and nationalconsciousness. China is a developing socialist country,facing the historictask of realizing modernization. Since modern times,China began hermodernization against the background of world history. In order to better subsist and develop,socialist China must satisfactorily deal with thecapitalism. This calls for a concrete and deep exploration into the Marxisttheory of world history,closely combining this theory with the excellentChinese traditions and real national conditions,in light of carrying forwardthe good traditions and developing with the times. Only by way ofemancipating the mind,seeking truth from facts, and developing with thetimes on the basis of understanding the elementary principles of Marxisttheoryofworldhistory,canwescientificallyanswerthevariousquestionsofthecontemporaryglobalization,developtheMarxist theoryof worldhistoryunderthedemandsofthetimesandpractice,andbreakanewgroundforthetheory of mind in light of Marxist theory of world history, and thus keepabreastofthetimes.
