Study On Execution Socialization

Crime, the prevailing social phenomena in all countries of the world, is one of the problems that our society confronted. Where there is crime, there is punishment and execution. Punishment of Imprisonment has been the core of system of punishment in each and every country since the modern times, and then becomes main code of execution punishment. The primary purpose of imprisonment is to educate and reform convicts and finally make them rehabilitate. But Punishment of Imprisonment always adopts the method of separating convicts from the rest of society to achieve its end of rehabilitation, and that makes the paradox between its means and end.Imprisonment not only grabbed the personal right of criminals, but also deprived their right to adapt to the social development. At the same time, this has brought some unimaginable difficulties to their family. Execution socialization is regarded as an ideal way to minimize the imprisonment's negative effect. The execution in jail is of adequately wields all kind of social resources and social forces to educate and remold the criminals in the course of execution, in this way to promote criminals return to society smoothly.Execution socialization is developing with the great changes of the society, and is the necessary result of development of punishment. It reflects humanity, democracy and benefit value and represents the future tendency of development of execution.The article employs such research methods as comparative study, historical analysis combined with demonstration analysis to analyze the origin, development and the trend of the idea of execution socialization. Meanwhile, an attempt is made to explore the basic theory and the development track of the execution socialization. The paper makes a brief introduction of the present status of the execution socialization in foreign countries, Hong Kong and Macao and analysises their characteristics. Through reviewing the exploitation on the levels of system and practice on our country's execution socialization in the past five decades, we try to make some valuable research on the reform and perfection of execution socialization.
