The Sino-Soviet economic and trade relationship always occupies the important position in the relations of the two countries. From the October Revolution of Sovietn to PRC set up in 1949, the trade relationship of the two countries almost went through twists and turns. Economic and trade cooperation of the two countries shouldered peculiar political mission during the Anti-Japanese War. But Sino-Soviet trade treaty of 1939 as the unique professional commercial treaty in this period from being proposed, negotiated to signed had some relations with international situations and the changing relation of Sino-Soviet, which showed dispute and compromises of the two countries'benefit. And this novel will perspective the relationship of Sino-Soviet during the period of Anti-Japanese War, and the react effect of country benefit and national security in the international relations through examining the signing process of Sino-Soviet trade treaty. The main text is divided into four parts:The first part, mainly introduce the historical background of raising the issue of Sino-Soviet trade treaty, that is, a series of setbacks in development of the Sino-Soviet relations between 1917-1935. Analysis the process from the establishment of the diplomatic relations in 1924 to the breaking of the diplomatic relations in 1929 and then to the restoration of diplomatic relations in 1932, leading to clarify the reasons for difficulties in the development of Sino-Soviet relations, including the damage of Sino-Soviet relations from Japan and the impact from United States, also the role of China Communist Party. The second part, first clarify the breaking of diplomatic relations of the two countries makes some impacts for the development of economic and the necessity of signing the treaty after resuming the diplomatic relations, and using a large number of forms and data to analyze. This part use the "republic files" that published in 2006 by the second Historical Archives of China and other materials in foreign languages, focusing on analyzing the conflict of interest in the draft of the Sino-Soviet exchange business of 1935, pointing out the difficulty of signing the treaty : on the one hand because of the indecision of the KMT's foreign policy, who hope the assistance of from the USA, Britain and the League of Nations; on the other hand because of the Soviet Union have done to Xinjiang's trade protection and not in a hurry to sign the treaty, but to search for a more favorable time. The third part, mainly on the negotiate terms of China and Soviet in the nationals'interests of the two sides and whether to join the trade balance and political issues . During this period the two governments make communications for many times, and signed a "Sino-Soviet non-aggression treaty" and two barter loan contracts. It the cleared away the obstacles for the signing of "Sino-Soviet trade treaty".The fourth part, mainly on the effort and the final concessions of the two sides for their national interests before signing the treaty, and ultimately the two countries signed a "Sino-Soviet trade treaty" in 1939. This part also provides an overview of the content of the "Sino-Soviet trade treaty", and analyzes the reasons for the difficulty of signing the treaty and the impact of it. The finally important reason for signing the treaty is the changing of the international situation and the threat of war for the two countries. The signing of the treaty promote the bilateral economic and trade cooperation and more closely relations between the two countries, which accelerated the pace of the victory of China's Anti-Japanese War. We can gain a conclusion from this novel that the economic interests and political relations between the countries, as well as the international relations interact with each other. The conflict of interests between countries changes as the international situation, but the fundamental national interest is national security. Therefore, when national security is threatened, any political relations, economic interests will become a tool for safeguarding national security. The conflict of interest and the settlement of the problem in negotiating the "Sino-Soviet trade treaty" just reflect this principle.
