Economic Globalization And New Development Of Modern International Relations

Globalization is the inexorable trend of historical development, and the economic globalization is foundation and core of globalization, which promotes strong impetus to the other aspects of the globalization process effectively, has a comprehensive and profound impact on contemporary international relations, and makes it manifest a lot of new changes and characteristics.Economic globalization origin can be traced back to the 15th century, but after World War II, especially since the 1980s, economic globalization is only beginning to emerge to take shape. Since the 1990s, international economy and politic come forth historic change, accelerating the development of economic globalization trend. Since the emergence of the phenomenon of economic globalization, it started to have a profound impact on the world economy, politics, security, culture and other areas. Especially since the 21st century, the rapid development of high-tech focusing on the revolution in information technology not only breaks the boundaries, but also narrows the gap between national and local, even grows into the world economy as a whole. Economic globalization, as the basis of international relations and conditions, finally decides the structure of international relations and the development and evolution of the form. Contemporary international relations manifest a number of new features and new trends in the context of globalization.This paper starts with the logic of relations between the economy and international relations, and launches an in-depth study on the new characteristics and new development of international relations in the backdrop of economic globalization. This article, particularly from the point of the international political science, applies international political economy theory and methodology to systematically study the new characteristics and new trends of international relations in, and based on this, puts forward a series of new international strategy.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part discusses the synchronization of economy and the development of international relations, the emergence and development of economic globalization and the latest performance and trends of economic globalization. According to the Marxist theory it firstly analyzes inherent logic between the economy and international relations and the synchronization of the development. Thus it concludes that international relations is a special form of the social relations which fundamentally depends on economic basis, and also is an international social relations of transcending the limits of the countries. International relations in the direction of the development and the trend of pattern of international relations progress along with the trend of economic development, which will eventually depend on the direction of the development of productive forces. Secondly the concept of economic globalization have been defined, which is that, with the continuing development of socialized production, the increasing degree of market economy and the rapid development of countries in the world, the regions'economy, including the production, circulation, consumption, and other fields of mutual ties, become interdependent and interwoven. Capital, goods, services, information and people in the world increasingly transcend national boundaries within the movement and expansion beyond the limits of countries. The world economy is increasingly becoming an integral organic whole, and backward the formation of the origin, development process of economic globalization. Finally focus on the appearance of the new features of the development and beyond the new trend of the world economy which has entered a phase of globalization.The second part, mainly analyzes the new development of international relations in the economic globalization, which is the focus of this paper. The part combining the background of economic globalization, discusses the new trend of development of international relations, including eight areas: 1.The new trend of international relations of cooperation and conflict-date. 2. This historical process of the world pattern leads important role in promoting the multi-polarization of the world pattern.The third part, with China's specific national conditions, points out the international strategic choice in the tide of economic globalization. Economic globalization is an irresistible trend to 2 l century forward. In determining the China's international strategy of new century, we have to conform to the general trend of development in the world. In the trend of economic globalization and increasing interdependence under the constraints of China's external relations, modern China must conform to the trend, and consciously adjust to peace and development as the theme of the time, and actively promote the building of a harmonious world, the enhancement of understanding concept of China's new security, and attention to the importance of international and further security cooperation.
