Russia is one of the countries where Jews gathered much, the Jews had made indelible contributions to the Russian politics, economics, culture etc. However, they had never been treated equally. On the contrary, they were excluded and persecuted most time. Emigration is one of their reactions. After the starting of Zionism and the establishment of Israel, the Russian Jews have started many large-scale immigration tides. Because of Russian economic depression, unstable political situation, ethnic conflicts in the late 1980, the Russian Jews have formed the biggest emmigration tide in Jews' history. The large-scale Jew's migration tide had the profound influences to Russia and Israel. It brought many negative influences to Russia inevitably, like the depopulation, the labor shortage, which caused tremendous economic loss. However it was the enlargement of Russian affection on the Middle East. This immigration influx is not only huge, but most of the immigrants are high educated. They are treated by the Israeli Government favorably, so their living conditions are optimistical, especially in the fields of economics and politics. The immigration changed Israeli's and even the entire Palestinian area's population structure. The massive immigrants strengthened Israel's labor force. They become the new force for Israeli economic development. More importantly, Russian Jews in Israel establish their own political party, and hold important status, which influence the situation of the Middle East. But it brings some problems too, Such as employment crisis, housing problem, education problem and conformity problem.
