A Study On The Transformation Of National Defense Technology System Of Russia After The Cold War

Russia, which is the second military power in the world, is the biggest neighboring country of China. China and Russia are both in the process of transformation, while both of their national defense technology systems originated from the Soviet Union model. Therefore, researches on Russian transformation of national defense technology system will provide reference value to the reform of ours.The thesis first gives a historical analysis on the background of the transformation of Russia's national defense technology system from four aspects: the transformation of political and economical system, the adjustment of military and strategy, the development of science and technology, and the internal requirement on the breaking away from the plight of developing national defense technology. Then the thesis goes on with a systematic study on the transformation from establishing both a new national defense technology organizational structure and its operational mechanism. On the basis of an objective evaluation of the effect of the transformation, the thesis ends with practical suggestions and countermeasures for reference to China's reform on its national defense technology system.
