In recent ycars,because some factors ,such as that the land acquisition system lags behind, some problems caused by land acquisition are not effectively solved,famers are usually under-compensated,relocation programmes for farmers are insufficient,the rate of the employment of land-lost famers is low, their social rights are failure to protect,all Problems makes numerous farmers lose land to farm,or become surplus labor and marginalized in the social security system.Since their legal rights are invaded,there have been incidents of famer unrest which affect the development of the national economy,and are a major source of social instability.Therefore,basing on the phenomenon of land-lost famers,it is necessary to aim at the existing legislation defects in social security system, build a social security system embracing all walks of life and sectors.The paper is made up of five parts. The first part of this article,on the base of dissertating the conception and characteristics of land-lost farmers, analyzes the general situation of land-lost farmers,and points out the importance and pressure of dealing with the problem of lose land-lost farmers. The second part presents the phenomenon that land-lost farmers'legal rights are invaded,and focuses on the causes. Land-lost farmers not only loss their land, but also fail to enjoy the rights of the minimum standard of living,the cmployment rights,the property rights,as well as other related rights. There are several reasons causing the problem of land-lost farmers,such as the reasons of law, system, policy, the land-lost farmers themselves and so on. The third part begins with the research of land-lost farmers'social security situation,and anayzles the current main problems of land-lost farmers'social sccurity,such as the lost of the legal system,the low level of the social security and the shortage of funds.
