Study On The Rights To Social Security For Land Lost Farmers

During the process of urbanization, the emergence of land lost farmers is a normal phenomenon. There are difficulties for them to find a non-agricultural job, in addition, rural social security system is imperfect, which result in more and more land lost farmers turn to be"no-land, no-job and no-safeguard". It attracts attention from people among all circles of the society. Both employment-promotion and establishing social security system for land lost farmers are beneficial to the solution of the problems. Employment-promotion is one of the functions in perfect social security system. Hence, establishing social security system for land lost farmers is the best method from the angle of law. And in theory, land lost farmers have legal rights to social security.Study on theory provides a foundation for establishing social security system. The origins of the rights to social security for land lost farmers are the same to the rights to social security. They are all from the fundamental rights, and they are concrete human rights. It is helpful to set up social security funds for land lost farmers. Meanwhile, it is beneficial to apply the employment-promotion system properly.
