The Construction Of East Asian Security Mechanism

The East Asian security issue is one of the most important issues in the modern international relations and security studies. We should analyst it from many aspects. In this article, we turn to the international relation theory: interdependent theory, neo-functionalist and international mechanism theory for help to analyst its process and try to guide it for its action.The security situation of East Asian is undergoing unprecedented changes, which impact on the East Asian security mechanism construction. In different stages ,it affects on it. America, Japan, ASEANS and China are the major which have great impacts on the East Asian security mechanism construction. Basted on the foundations of analyst its characteristic in different stages and the major factors which affects it , we try to combine the international theory with the East Asian security construction action and put forward a framework.In East Asia, the interdependent system is changing from time to time. Because of the interdependent system ,the East Asian countries have conducted cooperation in traditional and non-traditional security issues. Sensitivity and Vulnerability are the two factors of interdependent theory. In the East Asian region ,both the sensitivity and the vulnerability are in trouble. It does harm to the construction of East Asian security mechanism construction. It also put forward new challenges and requirements for its development. The neo-functionalist theory is the mainly international relational theory which explain and guide the regionalist action. The spill-over theory is the core of the neo-functionalist theory. We should catch up with some advantages if we want spread the economy cooperation to the security cooperation in East Asian region. There are many its own characteristic of its regionalist, which put forward some new challenges. The security mechanism can benefit for the region security. Until now ,the East Asian security mechanism have not built up, but lots of actions of the security mechanism help to buffer the region security situation. And the East Asian security mechanism has its own characteristics.China is one of the most important factor which can affects the East Asian security mechanism construction. When China take part in the construction action, there are different characteristics in different stages. There are much interest in the East Asian region for China. Currently ,there are not totally the same. How to meet the needs of the construction and Chinese national interest are the question we should answer.
