The Role And Operating Mechanism Of Women's Organizations In The Practice Of Chinese Women's Liberation

There are at least two forces have played an important role in the process of the women's emancipation since modern times.One of the forces is from the official Organization and another is from civil society outside governmental organizations.The common of the two forces are that they mobilized a gender group so as to complete certain social objectives.This paper focused on social mobilization for women group which offered by women's organizations in civil society,analyzing the role and operating mechanism of women's organizations in the two historical periods,exploring the changing role of women's organizations in the development of different historical stages.Having studied the data of history and reality,this paper found that the two forces which impacted on women's development have never made a difference respectively,however,intertwined together in the course practice of modern women's liberation and contemporary women's development. We can always find two voices affecting women's development both in modern or contemporary,the national voice and a civil voice.In modern times, national voice can be represented as national discourse.In contemporary, the national voice and the voices of women's federation hanged together. The national forces also have played a role in transformation of women in the process of mobilizing women to complete certain social goals.This transformation has affected the development of women's unity or women's organizations,thereby affecting the change of women's roles.The interaction between women's organizations and the nation Modern women's organizations in the course of national liberation is,on the one hand, women's organizations mobilize women to participate in national liberation and promote social development,on the other hand,women's organizations also undertake the task of promoting women's self-development.Such a dual role has been displayed apparently on the Women's Federation since 1995. In addition,the development of new women's organizations has also faced new challenges since 1995,which lack of space and social resources for the development of organization.This paper finally looked into the road of women's liberation,pointing out that women's development need strong nation force,also need strong joint between various civil women's organizations.
