Research On Religious Belief Of The Chinese Peasants Under The Vision Of Building The Socialism Harmonious Society

Since 1980s, due to the reform and opening-up and the social transition, they have led tothe evolution on the spiritual beliefs of some farmers who have gradually become religiousbelievers and created a rapid upsurge of farmers believe religion. This has added a new factorto the harmony and stability of rural society. Therefore, starting from the pursuit of goalwhich the Party build a socialist harmonious society in the 21st century, in-depth studies ofthe situation and the correctly guide issue on the Chinese peasants'religious beliefs, are notonly the development and innovation for the religion concept of Marxist, but also theexploration and concern with the spiritual needs of farmers in the transition period; are notonly the urgent needs to improve the Party's ruling ability and consolidate the party's rulingfoundation, but also the inevitable requirement for nurturing new farmers and realizingmodernization of China's rural areas.At present, although the academic community has been focused discussion onthe reasons and characteristics of the farmers'religious beliefs, there is a lack of thoroughanalysis of interaction between the peasants'religion and building a harmonious society ; Asfor the measures of guiding the farmers'religious beliefs still stay on the surface and theresearch needs to be strengthened. To this end, the thesis is guided under the Marxist classictheory, takes the research methods of social survey interviews and more interdisciplinaryintegrated and so on, tries to inspect the status quo, development trend and the existingproblems of the farmers'religious beliefs under the new vision in building the socialismharmonious society. Relying on the rational choices which including the system of socialistcore values, a service-oriented government and the building of rural'democracy and rule oflaw to rebuild farmers'religious world which can meet with the requirements of harmonioussociety, and promote a benign interaction for each other. This is the innovation of the paper.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part analyses the reasons, status quo andthe main features of the Chinese Peasants'"religious upsurge"; The second part expounds therelationship between religious belief of Chinese farmers and building the socialist harmonioussociety; The third part studies the development trend of farmers'"religious upsurge" and thepractical issues which will influence building harmonious society; The fourth part discussesthe target system, resources systems and countermeasures of achieving a benign interactionbetween the Chinese farmers'religious belief and building the harmonious society.
