Building A Harmonious Socialist Society In The Study Of Civil Society

With the rapid development of the socialist market economy, people's material and cultural living standards have been improved in different levels. However, the disparity between rich and poor appeared generally, causing a lot of problems and conflicts, which affect the harmonious and orderly development of socialism with Chinese characteristics. At this critical moment, to build a well-off society and create a new situation, our party puts forward the great task of building a "harmonious socialist society".。This is an important innovation in the theory of scientific socialism and has important theoretical and practical significance in building socialism with Chinese characteristics. Building a socialist harmonious society needs to rely on the strength of civil society. To promote the rational, rule of law and open spirit can play a positive role in promoting social harmony.Firstly, this article interprets the connotation and characteristics of socialist harmonious society and civil society, so as to lay the foundation for building civil society in harmonious socialist society. Secondly, the article focuses on the Intrinsic conjunction nature between socialist harmonious society and civil society, that is, the market economy is the common economic base of the civil society and harmonious society, democracy and rule of law, the common system of civil society and harmonious society, justice, the common value of civil society and harmonious society, respect for differences, the common culture of civil society and harmonious society. Thirdly, the article discusses the functions of civil society in building socialist harmonious society. First, civil society organizations can play a buffer role in social development through coordinating and resolving social conflicts. They can combine the elements of the social system organically and form a harmonious social system. Second, civil society contributes to promote the realization of democracy and the rule of law so that the whole community can achieve contract and standard management, contributing to a harmonious society. Third, civil society plays an important role in standardizing the market order in civil society, maintaining social justice, protecting legitimate competition, communication and coordinating aspects of inter-industry relationships. Fourth, civil society organizations, whose purpose is not profit, can improve the moral standards of citizens and social trust through the practice of social welfare undertakings in all areas, so as to form the morality of honesty. Fifth, since civil society organizations are not only close to the grass-roots groups, but also maintain close links with the Government, they are bridges between citizens and government, and thus be able to guide and promote the good cooperation between citizens and government. Finally, the article explores the problems of civil society in socialist harmonious society construction, analyses these issues objectively and puts forward corresponding countermeasures. It mainly includes three aspects as followings.First, given the lack of independence of civil society organizations and independent activity, to strengthen capacity building of civil society organizations themselves by staff training, financial support, empower civil society organizations more independence and autonomy, protect them in accordance within the legal framework. Second, given the incomplete legal and regulatory issues to develop and improve the laws and regulations of the civil society organizations, to create a favorable legal environment for the healthy development of civil society. Third, for the lack of reasonable and effective interaction, to maintain coordinate, balanced and complementary state among government, market and society, to keep to their own duties and strive to build a reasonable positive interaction between social structure, in order to establish a healthy, autonomous civil society. In short, to build a harmonious socialist society is inseparable from the development of civil society. The two have intrinsic conjunction nature and have interactive relationship. Building harmonious socialist society can promote the growth and strengthening of civil society, and the growth and strengthening of civil society in turn promote socialist harmonious society. Therefore, we need to build a harmonious socialist society by promoting civil society to create a favorable environment, but also clear the various negative factors through the development of civil society, so as to build a harmonious socialist society as soon as possible.
